ENGLAND beat Germany 2-0 with second half goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane at Wembley on Tuesday, to book a quarter-final against Ukraine in Rome on Saturday.
Sterling broke the deadlock in the 75th minute, with Kane’s first goal of Euro 2020 sealing the victory late on, as England secured their fourth clean sheet at the tournament.
Ukraine beat 10-man Sweden 2-1 after extra-time in Tuesday’s second game, thanks to a stoppage time winner.
If England win their quarter-final, they will meet Czech Republic or Denmark in the semi-finals.
In the other half of the draw, Switzerland will meet Spain in the quarter-finals on Friday, with Belgium or Italy meeting the winners in the semi-finals.

France squandered a 3-1 lead before losing on penalties against Switzerland in Monday’s second game.
Switzerland were 1-0 up and had a penalty saved, but France turned the game around – only for Switzerland to score two goals late on to send the game into extra-time.
The tournament’s first penalty shootout followed, with Kylian Mbappe missing the decisive spot kick.
